Jon Stewart Calls Obama the ‘Barry Bombs of Drone Strikes’

President Barack Obama now has the distinction of presiding over more U.S. drone strikes than any other president, Jon Stewart says — which makes him the “Barry Bombs of drone strikes.”

In the last 11 years, the U.S. has killed some 3,500 people in 425 drone strikes — 375 of them under Obama. The president has said he believes a drone attacks on a U.S. citizen would be unconstitutional without due process. But at the same time, the U.S. is reportedly looking into whether it can legally target a U.S. citizen working with Al Qaeda.

“So that’s our dilemma,” Stewart said. “It’s not constitutional to kill an American without due process – but there’s this American we’d really like to kill.”  Read More...
