TV ratings: Winter Olympics slip a little Thursday, 'Idol' results down too

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014The finals of women's figure skating at the Winter Olympics didn't produce any American medalists, and also didn't give NBC a ratings boost, as Thursday's numbers were off a tick from Wednesday night. As usual, though, they were more than big enough to win the night easily.The unveiling of the Top 13 on "American Idol" also didn't produce much excitement as the show hit a season low in adults 18-49. The night's only other first-run show was the finale of "The Taste" on ABC -- it improved a bit in viewers and was flat in the 18-49 demographic.NBC scored 19.9 million viewers and a 12.0 rating/19 share in households for the night. CBS (6.63 million, 4.3/7) and FOX (6.61 million, 4.2/7) finished in a virtual tie for second. ABC was fourth with 2.95 million viewers and a 2.1/3.
