This has to be my best episode ever of Brothers and Sisters. It has all the dynamics that make them a real family - loving, crazy and always children when you are with your parents. I watched it twice - the craziness around thanksgiving when none of the grown children could tell their parent, no thanks and the way they all ran to sit down when their mom came back and the onion throwing - just brilliant.
As for Justin not being able to have a secret conversation - yep, don't we all have the basketmouth sibling who can be guaranteed to give the game away without even trying... Then the hospital drama where everyone wants a ring side seat at the drama and a starring role without realising it... I could go on; Scott did good today too.
10 out of 10 for me. I am sure I will watch it again and make my siblings sit with me and watch it too.
Thanks whoever the writers are of this episode.
