sort of confused

First of all, I can't believe Zack was gormogons apprentice, he wassuch a good character. I don't really understand what would motivate him though. He was saying that 'The Master' approached him however long ago, but it didn't explain why Zack would want to kill that man. Now that I think about it, maybe it sort of did, but its still not working for me.

Well Zach thought that eliminating a secret society member was benefiting society, in his flawed logic. He was awesome, I'll miss him next season :(

at the end they explained that 'the master' chose zach because he was weak and therefore easy to manipulate. with listening to hodgins talk about secret societies and conspiracies, and zach's way of logic as reasoning it was easy for 'the master' to get zach to follow him. they say it all in the last few minutes but its easy to miss if you're not really paying attention to details like that...which is understandable in the craziness of finding out that zach was the apprentice. still shocked here.
