I really enjoyed the first episode of Dollhouse !!!

I agree. I really liked the first episode. It definitely felt like a Joss Whedon series, with the drama, suspense and the small conclusion to the episode as well as all the open questions that can be explored further on. If it keeps going in this direction, I think the show will be really good.

Agreed, really enjoyable, especially for a pilot. In interviews Whedon has talked about how he wants to do in-depth stuff about the nature of humanity and morality, Fox wants action and half-naked babes. It seems like they're setting out to do a good combination of the two, both of which I enjoy.There's some question of whether Dushku can actually pull off playing essentially a new character every week. Kind of a shaky start on that front. I imagine it's going to be a high/low issue, some characters better than others.Setting up alot of plotlines and interplay between the different characters, and I'm already intrigued to see where it goes. Hopefully when the ratings come in it'll be good news. "Something fell on me.""I bet it was something great !" Ah, classic...

Absolutely LOVED it. I was SO into this episode that it felt like it was only on for 5 minutes. I really hope the show continues in this direction cause I'm sure it will go far. After watching the first episode I would say I am 100% hooked on this show, and I'm crazy excited to see the next episode. :)

..... also, Eliza was amazing in the opener and I believe she's going to be great throughout the series :)

I like this one, I'm not to into eliza dushku as the main character. She strikes me as someone that should be a supporting character. Anyway I do love the show. I think I'm in love with Dichen Lachman ..... definitely the type of woman i'm attracted to.... all in all I will be following this show.

I also thought this was great (it's Joss Whedon, when isn't it great?) I'm way intrigued by the backstory and I can't wait for next week to see where they take this.I also have a few misgivings about Eliza Dushku as the main character. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, and she's got wonderful presence, but she tends to carry over a lot of mannerisms and attitude from character to character, and I kind of question whether that will be a good thing on a show like this. Still, I thought her portrayal of blank Echo was well done and interesting, and I'll reserve judgement till the show is way underway.No matter what, I think this show is going to be amazing :)

4.7 million viewers, in a timeslot that averages 5.5It was #2 in the timeslot for key demographics. So it didn't do great, but well enough that as long as it sees some gains, we may actually see season 2.

I think they should promote it better....may be promote in between American Idol!!

Dollhouse doesn't seem to me like a serie that will "hook you" but it's good enough that I'll watch it.

i think the pilot was a bit lame. first there was an obvious lack of attention to detail - ie brink comes out of his office when echo walks in on them with sierra failing to close the door properly behind him. the sound effects over the top indicate the door clicking shut. such a simple thing why not get it right? second it is slotting right into the barely plausible operation procedure cliche. sierra storms into the house at the end all guns blazing. um only 10 minutes late and completely misinformed. and kills a guy who was helping anyway. does this billion dollar company not believe in surveillance technology? third is the house the 'dolls' live in meant to be a storage facility / safehouse for unimprinted dolls or the playboy mansion? i'm not talking about the aesthetics but the carefree wanderings of echo walking in on sierra being whatevered. um privacy while conducting painful illegal experiments anyone? inviting disaster maybe? imo not enough care went into the small things - it's just another 4th season alias meets buffy on a budget.

absolutely amazing show cant say any more than that just lets hope that the fickle ppl don't screw it up but let grow into a great show

Although the pilot was a little confusing, with only a few snippets of Echo's past strewn in, I must say I really enjoy it. You can see where the show is heading and it looks very entertaining. Eliza Dushku can really pull it off, playing many different characters and I hope we'll see her in a few more "exotic" disguises. It reminds me a little of Alias that way. I hope that more actives will be introduced to see what their life is like, especially since Echo will be the "un-normal" active that starts to remember. For a pilot, the episode was very good and I hope to see the show continuing to develop according to promise. Can't wait for the next episodes.

I think this is a great show. I have just watched the first two shows online and can't understand why it is not showing in Australia yet. I think the Dollhouse looks like it is going to be very interesting. Why do we always get the good shows last?? Ugh!!
