No!! Not Nick Cutter!!!

Please just tell me that Nick Cutter's death is a temporary thing. Maybe a Nick Cutter from another dimension or something else will be coming back, because Primeval is not Primeval without the dashing Nick Cutter.

This was an excellent episode. It was funny, tense and touching all in one. Now if someone could just get rid of the wife. Or is it ex-wife?

Anyway, this sci-fi series is a really great add to BBCAmerica's lineup. They really know how to make sci-fi more exciting.

I've always loved Cutter, but episode 304 was, in my opinion, one of the best yet. So I'm hopeful for the future of the show. I really hope it gets a fourth season!
From "The Scottish Sun":

March 24, 2009
PRIMEVAL hunk Douglas Henshall is to quit the hit ITV dinosaur sci-fi show.Glasgow-born Douglas will bow out as hero Nick Cutter after three years in the ground-breaking time-travel epic.
The new ten-part series returns on Saturday, with regulars Hannah Spearritt, Ben Miller and Andrew-Lee Potts.
Lock Stock hunk Jason Flemyng joins the cast to take over the helm as maverick cop Danny Quinn.
He’s joined by Footballers’ Wives stunner Laila Rouass as kick-ass Egyptologist Sarah Page and newcomer Ben Mansfield as bodyguard Captain Becker.
But Douglas, 43, admits he almost had second thoughts about leaving the show.
He tells TV Times: “It was one of those things that happened and I thought, ‘Oh God, I’ve left’.
“The show might miss me for five minutes, but it will move on and it will be fine.

“We’ve got some great new blood on the show.
“The character Jason Flemyng plays is very different from Cutter but that’s what the show needs, I think.”
TV bosses are keeping Cutter’s sensational exit a closely-guarded secret.
Douglas, who starred in hit Brit flick This Year’s Love and C4 series Psychos, insists no other show compares to Primeval. He added: “I’d never done anything like it before — I was proud of it.”
Douglas Henshall features in the latest edition of TV Times — out today. Primeval is on STV at 7.20pm on Saturday.
