I love this show. Have been hooked since the beginning. Having seen every episode, it is torture waiting each week to see if a new episode is coming on. Can't wait to read the book.
| Mar 25, 2010 12:19AM EDT
If the book is half as good as the show then I will blaze through it in no time. I hate it when my favorite shows end. It'll be nice to see more of these in the future.

Ya know how books are always better than the same story on film (or video tape, in this case).......I believe it is because our imaginations, allow us the ability, to go far beyond any technology that has been created, therefore I think that I will enjoy the book beyond my love of the tv show.....which incidentally saved my life. I have been a , "Supernatural" fan since the first episode in 2005 !! Between the super hot brothers (Sam and Dean, of course), to the story lines and the special effects, I am always completely enthralled when I watch it. So wrapped up in it, in fact, that during the second season, I was in my bedroom (luckily with the door closed and locked), when 3 guys broke into my house and robbed us. They tried my door handle and I heard it (sorta), but didnt answer them, just kept watching.......I figured that it was my roommates fighting, as there was a lot of yelling in the living room, and they were a couple that always fought. I decided I would deal with them when the show was over. Wellllll, needless to say, the burglars got away with a bunch of stuff, but, "Supernatural" saved me and my belongings !! I was too involved in the show, to bother walking over to unlock my door for them !! Who knows what would have happened to me !!!!!! Consequently, I have a special place in my heart for, "Supernatural", and the story line sounds soooo exciting !! I cant wait to read it, to find out what the Heart of the Dragon is, and hopefully get closer to knowing what happened to their mother so many years ago !!!!!! Besides.......I am not working, as I am unable to walk, right now (major back issues) a good book would realllllly help me occupy my time !! Thanks, SideReel, for offering this giveaway !!!!!! ❤

When this show started i used to watch it with my cousin Michael. He was definitely the Dean to my Sam and seeing how the show has been playing out i am envious of that. For the first 3 season's me and my cousin had enjoyed our Supernatural Thursdays by ordering dinner, watching the new ep, commenting about the hottest guest star, and ending the night with exchanges of the classic bitch and jerk comments. But now we go to separate colleges and we only see each other around Christmas and maybe over the summer. Anyway I would like to win this book so i can read it, send it to him as a present, and then next time we see each other we can start off our need to talk about all thinks supernatural starting with this book. And maybe, just maybe, he will let me be dean for once!
| Mar 24, 2010 12:16AM EDT
When supernatural started I was just a measly, wimp to the things going bump in the night. Now I am almost as brave as Sam and Dean. The show has helped me to grow and offered almost an alternate life for myself. Each week is a new adventure with a new life lesson in store. The whole family is stronger together thing is incredibly beautiful. Most of all, the boys jus make me laugh, which is something I LOVE to do!!!! Dean is so witty and always has amazing comebacks for Sam. Sam is book smart and really helps the audience understand the mythology stuff which I also LOVE.!!!! I am very excited for the 6th season next year and this years conclusion.

I've been a follower of Supernatural since the beginning. The show continues to enthrall me with each new episode. The characterization, relationships, and emotions are real and gripping, and the mythology in the show is fascinating. I've always been a fan of mythology, and I love the way the show's creators take well known mythology, legends and fables and make it their own. This season has been fantastic, and I can't wait to see where the show goes. I hope the story continues for another season, because I really believe Sam and Dean's story isn't finished yet. I find their relationship to be very deep and complicated, and I love that even after everything they've been through, they know they are stronger together no matter what, and they can never truely turn their backs on each other. That, more than anything else, is the reason I love the show. The story of the brothers who would do anything for each other speaks to me on a very deep level. Their chemistry on set is so engaging, they always keep me watching.

I have been a follower of Supernatural almost since the beginning. I would really like to read a book about it, which works for me since I enjoy reading even more than I like to watch TV. I'm hoping this book takes place during the post-lucifer-release thing. This season has been the best one so far, and I really hope they continue the story with another season. Sam and Dean aren't done yet.
| Mar 23, 2010 9:59PM EDT
I have been completely obsessed with Supernatural since the first episode. I love every story arc they've done and I'm dying to find out how this season's going to wrap up, not to mention what season 6 is going to be like. Supernatural is my favorite show of all time and it's going to be intensely hard when the show is over. In the meantime, however, I am enjoying every single second of every episode, and when they're on break, I've got the past 4 seasons on DVD and I love watching my favorite episodes over and over! I love how the show is the perfect mix of comedy, intense action, great plots, and yet manages to unexpectedly make me cry...especially because of Dean and everything that's happened to him throughout the series. Watching new epis of Supernatural as well as reruns is one of my favorite ways of unwinding after a long day. Reading is another and that's why I would love to win a free copy of "Supernatural: Heart of the Dragon"!!! = )
| Mar 23, 2010 7:29PM EDT
I would just like to say first off that I love this site! I use it at least once a day, it's amazing how you have so many of my favorite shows on here and that I can watch them anytime I want! So thank you Sidereel! I have been watching Supernatural since season 1 and I think it is one of the best shows that has ever been on television. I love that I'm able to escape into another world through this series. I makes my life interesting! The plot and characters are enchanting. Basically everything about this show is brilliant to me. I'm so nervous that this will be the last season but I understand the writers/producers decision to end it while it's doing well. I am so happy that there is that Supernatural book. Books are my favorite way of escaping into another world, other than watching Supernatural of course! So the combination of the two is fantastic!!! I would truly be grateful if I won a free copy of the book! Thanks for the awesome giveaway Sidereel!
| Mar 23, 2010 6:23PM EDT
I cant wait to see how the apocalypse timeline will pan out and whether they will be able to fight being the chosen vessels and to see if they will be able to stop Lucifer or not!
| Mar 23, 2010 3:21PM EDT
I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, LOVE SuperNatural!!! First of all beacause back in the 6 Grade, my Teacher Kept talking on about it. So I discided to sneek on the Computer and watch an Episode of it. I Love it so much that I talked about it everyday and watched every episode until now. I mostly like it because there's people with powers in it. But i also like it because there's alot of old music in it like AC-DC, Rolling Stones, and also the Show Kicks alot of ass. So if I could Win That Book It Would be the Best Thing Ever because I would Know Almost Everthing about the Winchester Boys and I Will Be The Best #1 Ultra SuperNatural Fan Ever!!!
| Mar 23, 2010 1:40PM EDT
Ahhhh! the Boys and a Dragon! What better can I ask for. That book would also be a great occasion to enjoy the bros in a hot tub with lots of bubbles...

I havent read a good book for a while, and i love supernatural. so this book is perfect. :)
| Mar 22, 2010 2:01AM EDT
not only do i ADORE the show, ive read the comics. im also a fan of their other works (girlmore girls, dark angel, etc) i religiously watch this show and i always seem to remember the random actors that have guest spots on the show in other tv works ie the horseman "war" was in the season 6 premiere of lost.
| Mar 21, 2010 9:28AM EDT
I love the show Supernatural. I have always been really into the idea of horror movies and mythological themes in shows, but to be completely honest, I can't watch very much of those types of things because I have a weak stomach for scary. When I found Supernatural it was the perfect fit. The characters were deep and fun to dissect, the plot was exciting and will take any chance it can to shock viewers, and lets face it, those Winchester boys sure are pretty. I love that I was able to watch and learn more about all of the things I was interested from the horror genre, but wouldn't have to cover my eyes every twenty seconds. I also LOVE to read. Anyone will tell you that I'm constantly reading a book. I own many books from the sci-fi and horror genre that I read on a regular basis. Adding a new Supernatural book to my collection would be awesome to say the least.
| Mar 20, 2010 12:44PM EDT
I would want this book because I love all things Supernatural, and you can never have too many new adventures to explore.
| Mar 20, 2010 7:46AM EDT
I am excited becuase I haven't watched Supernatural in 2 months and that's kind of weird for me after watching all the seasons in one and then nothing! and I miss their increadible humor that is unique!!! ;D and Dean Winchester/ Jensen Ackles is hot in any format!!
| Mar 19, 2010 4:45PM EDT
I'm excited because I'm broke and can't buy books atm, so right now, the show is all I've got. And just reading it would be frawesome (fricken awesome).
| Mar 19, 2010 2:53PM EDT
I'm a die hard Supernatural fan that has followed the series from the beginning. I can never find one bad thing about the show, and I'm sure it would be the same when it comes to the book. It'd absolutely make my day to win the novel and be able to continue my Winchester obsession through reading. =D
| Mar 19, 2010 1:47AM EDT
Jensen Ackles!!!
| Mar 19, 2010 1:46AM EDT
i want the book!!!
| Mar 19, 2010 1:29AM EDT
I am extremely excited to read this book because I want to be able to read about the mythology (which is my favourite part of the show), as well as to be better able to tell friends about the most epic series ever :).
| Mar 19, 2010 1:11AM EDT
Supernatural is such an Amazing show! I always look forward to Thursday because It's wonderful to delve into The world of Supernatural. I love books, so it would be awesome to read a book about Supernatural.
| Mar 19, 2010 12:40AM EDT
who isn't excited to get a copy of the novel? i'm sure everyone here is big Supernatural fan.. we all want our weekly dose of Supernatural and we'll just keep wanting more! & what better way to fill this fix than having this book? :)
| Mar 19, 2010 12:20AM EDT
Winning this would be awesome, I am a huge fan of supernatural and it would be great to add this to my collection.
| Mar 19, 2010 12:16AM EDT
As a fan, you'd be hardpressed to find one more gung-ho about Supernatural and all of its mythos than I am. I am addicted to the show, and literally count down the days to each episode. I own all the available seasons on DVD and watch them constantly. There is hardly anything about this show that I could not remember at the drop of a hat. But its not just TV and Supernatural that catches my fancy. Its reading. I read all the time. I've even been known to read in class, or while watching TV. And if you looked at my bookshelf, the majority of my books would be supernatural themed books. And by majority, I mean well over a hundred. That have been read many times. I would love to have this Supernatural: Heart of the Dragon book, and think that it could not be in better hands than mine, an avid Supernatural fan and reader.
| Mar 18, 2010 11:27PM EDT
Yay! Supernatural is awesome! It's now the only show I get to watch with my brother and there hasn't been a new episode in ages so I'm missing my 'sibling actually watching tv with me' time! Having the book would be doubly awesome, because I love books, and my brother might actually read one too!! We could discuss a book! I'll even make sure my dog doesn't eat it!! =] Supernatural is one of those shows that has something for everyone and an extra book episode sounds VERY exciting.
| Mar 18, 2010 9:51PM EDT
I’m a HUGE fan if Supernatural, I’m infatuated with series because it’s so gripping and amazingly original! I’ve every single episode and have collected every single season. It’s the only show I watch that is why I look forward to every Thursday :D The reason why I like it is because I feel like I relate to them so much, I know it’s cheesy and also it is not like your average TV show !? I feel like every time I watch it it’s like I’m watching a movie...Unpredictable, Mysterious and down right Adventurous.
| Mar 18, 2010 9:37PM EDT
HUGE Fan. Watched from their very first episode and have supported them by writing to the network in why their show must continue. The show gets serious and then most of the time makes me laugh to no end. We all need a good laugh every now and again. Suffering from Supernatural withdrawals currently. Can't wait for the episode...................Soon.
| Mar 18, 2010 8:44PM EDT
Easy question.First, I can t wait to see death, the horseman, and how the resurection will be a bad thing.Secondly, this is one of two shows i actually love because it is actually using the real myth for the most part just spinning it so that it would work for a show. And finnaly I love to read.
| Mar 18, 2010 8:23PM EDT
Supernatural is one of the best shows on tv today...I already own a few Supernatural books, and I'd love to add this one to the collection. I love the show and the brothers so much, what's not to love when they are in novel form?
| Mar 18, 2010 7:42PM EDT
I've read every other Supernatural novel and I've seen every episode. Everyone hates to watch reruns with me because I recite each line wrod for word. I always love new stories about the winchester brothers, soo I can't wait to read this book.
| Mar 18, 2010 4:55PM EDT
There is a lot of comments saying that they are excited because they absolutely love the series, and they will be sad when it ends, and they will need their dose of Supernatural. To be honest, I think that every fan would say that. For me though, Supernatural isn't just a show, it's an escape away from all of the drama. Of all of the problems that seem like i won't be able to handle it. Watching Supernatural and reading books are my only escape. When watching or reading, i'm sucked into a world where i am the character. I may seem like a crazy psycho, but that's how i feel. And personally, for once i would like to see how they convert a storyline that was on the screen on to pages. All in all, Supernatural is a godsend, and tons of thanks to Eric Kripke and everyone who makes the show possible. We love you dearly. Keep up the great work :)
| Mar 18, 2010 3:39PM EDT
As a student of mythology and classical history I love watching a show following many things I study on a regular basis. I am so interested in the idea of what a human can do to not see things for what they are and things that could be. For this, I am obsessed with Supernatural. As a late comer in to the game I have quickly come up to speed with all the characters, Sam, Dean, Bobby and Castiel among everyone else. I have read all of the books up to speed and as much as I would love to get a hold of the newest novel to read and enjoy. I think the story has developed so much in the last five years and I love the interpretation the books have taken in interpretation of the knowledge we already know and how much more they can take it to new heights.I can't afford cable but every friday morning, thanks to ( I am so grateful that I can still enjoy another healthy dose of the newest Supernatural up to date!1 week to new episodes!!!
| Mar 18, 2010 3:18PM EDT
Supernatural is by far the best sci-fi on tv since early seasons of Buffy. Heck, its may be the best on tv period, regardless of genre. Since the introduction of Angels in Cas, the show has really taken off and become more than just another show about monsters. To be able to recreate the story in the form of a novel is really exciting. Its tough to imagine the show without the acting of Jared, Jensen and Misha but I think they can make it work. And to be honest, I love the mythology so much at this point whatever they write is probably going to seem like gold!
| Mar 18, 2010 3:04PM EDT
I love Supernatural, and will be incredibly sad when it goes off the air. If I win this book, I will probably re-read it dozens of times to comfort me over the years when I get a Supernatural craving!
| Mar 18, 2010 2:34PM EDT
I'm curious to see if they manage to capture the magic in print. I love this show. I've been watching it since the first episode, although I have to admit that I wasn't hooked until I saw Home (1.9). This show has the perfect combination of humor and heart wrench, triviality and significance, and humanity and power. I think I've converted about 10 people to this show. I would love to read the books, and I freakin' hope they're even half as good as the show!

It has been a long time since I have found a series that I could really sink my teeth into and follow with bated breath. With a novel coming out, this gives me the opportunity to follow the series and more while waiting in between episodes and cuddle in bed with two of the hottest characters to date!
| Mar 18, 2010 10:49AM EDT
I haven't been able to read any of the series yet. This would definately be a great start. If the books are half as good as the show, which books undoubtably always are, then they're worth reading. I've always loved the twists in the series. It's rare for a story to keep me on my toes. Supernatural has it all.
| Mar 17, 2010 11:10PM EDT
This looks like an excellent book! I'm making my way through the supernatural graphic novel series right now and am loving that extra bit of the story line. Supernatural is, bar none, my favorite tv show on the air. The writing, the acting, the characterization have been consistently impeccable since the first season. So many shows drop in quality after the first season and that hasn't happened with supernatural, in fact, and this I believe is rare in so many TV shows it just keeps getting better! I can't wait to find what the rest of this season brings!
| Mar 17, 2010 3:19AM EDT
OMG! Supernatural is the BEST SHOW EVER!!! ive watched every episode at least 3 times! ugh its just sooo amazing! ANYTHING to do with the Winchester boys im sooooo deffinately in! i wannt this prize SOOOO MUCH!
| Mar 16, 2010 10:48PM EDT
I wanna read this book so bad cause i want so see if the author can create an unpredictable page turning book that i won't want to put down. Just like the show that i can't stop watching.
| Mar 16, 2010 10:28PM EDT
I'm excited to see if the brotherly banter can be transfered, successfully , to written word as it is so clearly done in the show. The way the brother act, react, and associate with each other and everything they've been through is what really makes the show for me. The actor both pull it off wonderfully and you really believe they are brothers. Let's hope they can pull the same witty banter off in written form.
| Mar 16, 2010 7:41PM EDT
I'm a huge supernatural fan, so whatever related to supernatural I will see or read it! so I can't wait to read this new novel and I hope there would be more!
| Mar 16, 2010 5:55PM EDT
Any additional storyline and 'life' for lack of a better word, to add to this story is a plus for me.
| Mar 15, 2010 7:03PM EDT
Personally I love the complexity of the plot of supernatural and the way all the subplots are interconnected thanks to the fact that the story line was plotted out from day one. From the death of their mother to the rise of the apocalypse the Winchester's destiny truly has been wonderfully drawn out. The balance of suspense, horror and comedy is superb. What is really exciting about taking the supernatural world into print form is that it allows for a longer more drawn out story without the limitations of an hour long show ( which is never enough time!). In print form more things are possible as all the action plays out in the readers imagination which is perfect for a world such as supernatural, which takes folklore and mythology to a new level incorporating it flawlessly with modern society. Being able to learn more about Sam and Dean's past and what truly has made them who they are today is an amazing opportunity. I will continue to spread the world of supernatural to anyone who will listen!
| Mar 15, 2010 6:18PM EDT
I love Supernatural and am a big fan. It is my favorite T.V. show. I love the story and I think both Jared and Jensen are great Actors! I also like reading, and I own the three previous novels written about the supernatural series and I have been waiting for a while for the next one to come out. I am super excited that it is finally here and I can't wait to read it!!
| Mar 15, 2010 4:11PM EDT
I love love supernatural. So, I think it would be interesting to read the book because it is something that has not been shown on tv. I love to read books after you have watch a movie or tv show based off the book you are reading because you make a mental picture of those characters from the show and it really makes the book come to life.
| Mar 15, 2010 4:04PM EDT
It is supernatural, why would i not want to read this. I also hope there is an updated version of the playlist he included in bone key, that was very helpful xD
| Mar 15, 2010 4:12AM EDT
I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE SUPERNATURAL! Which means I would LOVE to read the book! I'm a HUGE fan of Supernatural, I watch it almost everyday! (I've been re-watching the series, it's just so good, I can't get enough!) The storyline is like no other show out there and the Winchester boys are theee best! I can honestly say Supernatural is my FAVORITE show out of all 10+ shows I watch weekly on TV! (I know, I watch a little too much TV.) Whenever my friends ask what I'm doing, they automatically guess, "Watching Supernatural again?!" I'm EXTREMELY excited to read this book because any story relating to the Winchester boys and their adventures has got to be a MUST read! I seriously can't get enough! I love reading books and this particular one would just add to my crazed obsession with the show and would probably become one of my favorite books! Or at least my most treasured one. I really hope I win this contest, thank you Sidereel for this opportunity and givin' us all the Supernatural we can get!! :)
| Mar 15, 2010 1:35AM EDT
I would love to read this book. I already read tons and tons of fanfic. . .and write a few myself, but it would be awesome to actually read a real book about those wonderful Winchesters
| Mar 14, 2010 11:34PM EDT
I really enjoy reading graphic novels made from movies or series, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 8. It's great to be able to read stories that were never put on TV, it makes the imaginary work harder. This novel should be awesome!
| Mar 14, 2010 7:53PM EDT
I think the serie is awesome, but the book will be even better
| Mar 14, 2010 5:58PM EDT
My friends tell me I'm dorky for watching Supernatural and that I only watch it to drool over Sam and Dean. BUT, that's not true, because I genuinely think that the storyline is really intriguing and interesting. I have kept up with the series for all the seasons, and I've watched as many behind the scenes footage of the show. Watch the bloopers on! (they are hilarious) The entire cast seems so laid back and all the actors/actresses seem to get along and have a sense of humor. I love this show because of how down to earth it seems and of course, Sam and Dean.
| Mar 14, 2010 3:31PM EDT
this is one of the masterpieces of storytelling that exists todayit takes you away from the bubble of life and transcends into your imagination. For 40 minutes nothing else matters. thats the power that is supernatural
| Mar 14, 2010 6:02AM EDT
Being that the show might be ending this season I really want to keep the charactors alive in my heart. Though the tales of the "Winchester Boys" will be kept alive with forever with the seasons of great tv and amazing fan fiction. This book will help me remember that fact. Any time I want to relax, or disapear from reality I will be able to grab this book off my shelf, hop in the tub, and leave reality behind for the land of Supernatural.
| Mar 13, 2010 7:31PM EST
LOVE this series. I love when good tv shows come out with books. And since the end may be near for Supernatural, this would definitely help me cope with not being able to see the Winchester boys anymore :)
| Mar 13, 2010 4:56PM EST
I cant get enough of this series i wish there were more like it the story line is superb !!!
| Mar 13, 2010 3:23PM EST
Hey, freakin Brilliant idea Sidereel!!! I just barely created an account here just so I could enter this contest! (although I have been using sidereel religiously for about two years and I've recommended it to tonz of people). You're a great site. Anyway, I think I should totally win this contest, because it's all about creating more fans for the show, right? And I've totally done that. I got my fifteen year old sister and her friends all hooked on it, and a ton of my own friends as well, girls and guys of all ages. I tell the guys that each episode is like a miniature horror flick, and all you have to do to hook the girls is hold up a picture of the Winchesters and say- 'Look how Pretty!!!' :P My sister and I have all the seasons, and we've been ever-so-generously and CAREFULLY lending them to people we have spread the Jared/Jensen fever to. ;) You can be sure that this book would be well-read and loved by lots people at my house. I've got ten girls on a waiting list to borrow it already. DoN't DaNgLe THe dReAM SiDReeL!!! <3 <3 We Love You! ~*~TEAM JARED~*~

I can't wait to read the Heart of the Dragon. Keith DeCandido did an excellent job with his last books. I can't wait to see what new adventure and delimmas who puts our beloved Sam and Dean in. And he always manages to create some great new brotherly moments and laughs as well.

I am excited to see what happens. If Sam and Dean will stay renegade and how will they handle it. Is sam going to be fully detoxed from the demon blood or is he gonna crave more. How Bobby is doing in the future haven't seen him in a while. What is castiel up to? Did he find God or is he on his trail or is there no trail at all. I know that the next show is supposed to be about zombies so how does that play in the whole heaven and hell thing? When will the battle be over between heaven and hell? Is Dean still going to have his funny comments and be all macho or will he break down. I know in the last episode he asked god for help. I think that is only the second time he has ever done that on the tv show. So we will see what happens. I love Supernatural I have all 4 seasons on DVD and it is one of the best shows ever. Jensen and Jared do a wonderful job acting.

Supernatural is my favorite show on television; there are so many great aspects of the show that I would love to see if they transfer well to a written story. I love the format of the show and how the characters have grown and evolved as the seasons have passed. This story sounds very interesting and I would enjoy reading it to see how it connects to the bigger picture as seen in the show.

The 25th can't come fast enough. I would love to read this. It's got Supernatural and Dragons?!!! What more could you want, although there probably isn't an actual mythological dragon but who cares, its supernatural!!! Also it's nice to see season 6 coming our way although I wonder what the story will be...

This is a great giveaway! Supernatural and books are two of my favorite things, so a Supernatural book is perfect.Plus, I got confused and thought it restarted this week, so I was really disappointed when I didn't get my Supernatural fix.

I have been dedicated to supernatural since the first season, and I have also been actively using for almost as long. And even though I've used Sidereel to watch Supernatural for years now, seeing this contest has convinced me to make an account. I am suffering real Winchester Withdrawl, but more importantly...this book would make an EXCELLENT addition to any fan's collection. Cool contest sidereel.

I am obsessed with the mythology in Supernatural. It's fascinating how they twist the legends of commonly known monsters and make them awesome to watch. The show grips you with its plot and the way Sam and Dean are struggling to fix the trust between them. Very little is known about how the two boys were raised, so I am hoping that this book elaborates a little more about their past. The way this season is going is very exciting, with the apocalypse on the horizon and the Winchesters struggling to change their fate, and the fate of the world. I'm worried that the show is nearing its end, so any more stories concerning the Winchester brothers is much appreciated. Very much looking forward to seeing how Sam and Dean plan to stop Lucifer. Also wondering if Sam will accept Lucifer's offer, or if Dean will accept Michael's. This show never has a dull moment, and I plan to watch it for as long as it's on TV.

I am obsessed with supernatural. I've seen all the episodes at least 4 times each. I would love to read the book while I wait for it to come back on. I'm going trough Winchester withdrawal.

I absolutely love the series, and can't wait to read the book too. I sincerely hope that this show wont ever be cancelled like some of my other favourites (Dark Angel, Kyle XY, etc.)

I cant wait to see how intense the rest of the season will be. so maybe this book will give me some interesting ideas as to where the rest of the series might be going.
