I've been watching this show since I was 5 years old...Haha (not kidding I had to agree to nap before it came on... so basically I've been watching it for at least the last 13 years)... I remember at one point thinking once Dr. Green was gone..."if they ever get rid of Carter" I'm not watching this show anymore... then it changed to "Well, if they ever get rid of Luka..." I stuck out moments when my favorite characters were killed off (there were many of them) or left. I'm glad and somewhat sad (in light of tonight's ending) that Carter is back. ER was at its best whenever the relationships were more interesting then the patients.

omg!!i've seen just about every episode, and i love them all. there were a few season when the show lost its umph, but its definitely got it back.i think that the seasons i like the most were 5-8 and 12-14, but that doesn't mean all the other seasons didn't have awesome episodes.Of course every season had a favorite character, ross, greene, hathaway, carter, corday, romano, kovac, chen, pratt, gates, neela, i think that my favorites over the years were greene, corday, knight, and lockhart. its heartbraking that abby and luka were off before the end but they had a great run. i always knew they'd be together in the end.i have shed so many tears over this show, form lucy's death to greene's and pratt's, to abbys last episode. i will shed some more for it in the end.its so sad to see a show so great just end, its been there forever now its almost over, of course, there will always be re-runs but its not the same. i will miss this show

I quit watching after they killed Dr. Romano, by having a helicopter fall on him. Really, that was the moment I was done. He was the character you loved to hate.

2 shows will always stand out for me as a hight that not only ER reached, but for sheer emotion few shows ever do. doug and marks road trip was pure genius to be able to take the show away from it's comfort zone, while the show that narrated marks final days in hawaii, and closed with the letter blowing off the notice board left me in floods. a few years later i sadly drifted away, it will be missed and love i catching the odd re run. i know alot of people tuned in with the QT directed episode and couldn't see what all the fuss was about, but then they had no bench mark to judge it by. strangley ER is the only hospital show i watch (not sure in Green Wing counts, that more like an asylum) never been tempted by holby, casualty, house or greys, so i guess there was something very special about ER. Goodbye and thank you for the great era, ross, green and carter years, even loved rocket

I've watched since the beginning, and I'll watch till the end, so I don't think I have a favorite. Although I do think it's a shame that Abby and Luca left before the finale. Abby has been a favorite of mine since Carol had the Twins.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure once we hit the point where there were no original castmembers left (goodbye Dr. Carter...) is when I lost interest.

I agree with the Clooney years. I'd go as far as 1-8. After Dr Greene died it wasn't worth it to me anymore.

Well, I started watching after Clooney left. So, I'd have to say seasons 6-9?
