Fringe Premiere: Cheers or Jeers?

With all the hype around the J.J. Abrams' newbie, did Fringe deliver?

While it's not my genre of choice, the Fringe premiere had some pretty ridiculously cool stuff going on and a fantastic set-up for the season!

Are you completely hooked after this premiere or still waiting to be impressed?

I thought it was amazing! Like a mix of Bones and Supernatural. I'm quite sure this series is going to deliver.

This Fringe Poll leans more towards people in general not liking the show. I think it's way too early to tell for a show like this. The intrigue of the show won't start until the story/plot/characters are more developed.

I watched it online before the premiere aired on the telly, and I'm really interested in it. Although, the lead kind of annoyed me with her acting and her obvious faux American accent early in the episode, but I grew to her later on.

Going to be a great show, this is topic that has really never been seen on TV. The way JJ Abrams and CO. writes episodes is great, you know little things we saw that may not have been focused on is going to play a big role in the show. For example, when walter bishop first sees his son(Joshua Jackson) he checks his pupils then later says he wants to take his blood pressure, obviously there is somthing big there, maybe an expertiment Walter Bishop did on his son when he was younger. There are always underlining story lines in a JJ Abrams show, and this one looks like it will not be any different, definitely hooked on this show.

I am hooked too. I loved it. The special FX were good and a good story behind it also. Looking forward to the 2nd ep. Could be one of the big hits this season.
