Jesus F-ing Christ. First of all this is completely teenage girl ridiculous. Second, if any of you out there who support this Edward v. Jacob bull read the books you would understand that this idea is irrelevant. CLEARLY in the 4th book this debate is cleared up when we see that Jacob is... Oh I won't ruin it for you. BUT READ THE DAMN BOOKS!!!! And you will understand my frustration

Disregarding all I know from reading the books, totally Team Jacob, especially after seeing the movie.

my question is why these hot guys want to be chosen by this stupid and annoying character in the first place.

@KEnnysLISt I read the books, so I know the outcome..doesn't mean we can not vote, who we would actually want Bella to be with ;)Me myself I am a huge Bella-Edward fan. I never pitied Jacob and sure as hell never wanted Jacob to be with Bella. The story is made for Edward and I want Edward to be with Bella...@growabrain I take it you don't like Bella?@idewald I heard there is a huge Jacob-fan base and therefor a huge TEAM-JACOB...I can understand why you like Jacob, specially after watching the movie. Jacob is adorable, but I still am a Edward-fan ( though rather the Book-Edward-not RP ....no offense to all RP fans)I am on the other end of the planet so I still have to wait another week before watching the movie..which is truly annoying at the moment!!

i saw new moon last night!!!! it was wayyyy better than the first one :) mostly because jacob had his shirt off for 75% of the movie!!! Bella and Edward are meant for each other...besides JACOB BLACK IS ALL MINE!!!!!...(Robert Pattinson is pretty damn ugly)

I've read the books and while I do like jacob I'd have to side with edward on this one. The reasons for edward leaving kind of trump his breaking Bella's heart. The dusch bag forgot Bella was a danger magnet. Anyway if you really want to settle this argument read the books. Besides Edward is much more polite and much more of a gentlemen than jacob.

Well, Bella is in love with Edward. So any effort she made with Jacob would be doomed to failure. That wouldn't be fair to her or to him. So I say she should choose Edward and let Jacob find someone who will love him the way he deserves to be loved. Like me! The whole werewolf thing is so hot!

Jacob makes me go RAWR. Seriously. However, I will be completely objective and say...Edward and Jacob are just meant for different needs. Edward is pretteh, like a sparkly barbie doll little girls like to play with while they fantazise about fairy tales. Jacob, on the other hand, is another kind of toy...for women, not little girls...if you know what I mean; he's like...the real deal. Ok before you all go crazy on me for "objectifying" men, I'll just clarify that the "toy" metaphor was simply used for clarification purposes. Don't go crazy on me...I don't think men are pieces of meat or toys you play with. Aaaaanyway. In my personal opinion...Jacob is the way to go. Of course for those of you who have, in fact, read the books, well...I'll shut up now. XD

@growabrain: Agreed, Bella is annoying. When I read the books, I actually liked her character (for about 3 pages)...then, she got needy, annoying and incredibly repetitive (all she did in the first book was swoon, blush, faint and sigh at the sight of pretteh Edward...yeah...we get it...you like him). She made me go in denial mode when reading the 2nd book...I stopped reading for about 3 weeks when the woman decided to assume the fetal position, lay in a forest...and die there because of her needy ways. Sorry, Bella but the whinny power should be reserved for Maya (Heroes)...now there's a woman that knows how to embrace the full potential of being whinny...she actually kills people. (quote: "*screams and cries* Gabriel!!!!l"). No, I'm not a Twilight hater. I'm just stating facts.

guys, seriously, everybody seems to be basing their opinions on the actors. not the characters, like the question would imply. the point is, the way they made the movie, they made it seem like bella is actually having trouble choosing between edward and jacob. in the book it's completely obvious that she's always going to be with edward and that's it. this question is useless.

and neither jacob nor edward is hot in the movie.

Jacob is sooooo hot in the books...actually, while I think the actor that plays him is not bad looking...he's also waaay to um...pretteh, like...too cute to be hot. Also, I agree, in the books, there is never a chance for Bella to change her mind...still, it's always fun to imagine "what if"...isn't it?

after watching new moon .. i agree bella is annoying... she should of choosen JACOB all the way .. he is fine as heck .. straight forward I wouldnt mind having him for myself. LOL. in all honesty they should of picked a different actor for bella This bella seems to fake for some reason. but that is just me i guess.

okay, so i'm desperately looking for a spoiler. i've been hearing that there is a serious cliffhanger at the end of new moon that like...leaves you gasping for air. i haven't seen it yet, and idk when i will be able to. PLEASE! someone tell me what happens! i'm dying to know!

This is very stupid of course she would take Edward but in my opinion, Jacob is awesome. I don't read the books but from the movie, the whole wolf gang is awesome.

Edward Cullen.In the books, Edward is cooler and Jacob just sounds whiney.I love the books but I think Kirsten Stewart is sooo bad at acting.

{spoiler maybe} *shrug*yes... if there could be an additional love scene between Bella and Alice that would be sweet. ;) Though, Jasper might have a problem with that. I encourage everyone to read the books because the series helps to give Jacob more emotional justification for being mad at Bella for taking Edward back. As someone else already mentioned, the fourth book explains why Jacob is so irrationally 'drawn' to Bella too. As for my vote? Edward because that is the story. Similar to how Vampyre Diaries is being "reimagined" on the television series. I would be find with them changing whatever they want up too and excluding the primary emotional character relationships. If they do that? then it is a completely different series and needs a new name.

I had always rooted for Edward, even though in the books I felt for Jacob a lot. But after watching the new moon movie, I have to say, I wish Jacob got the love he deserved. I think a lot of it is because Taylor portrays Jacob perfectly in my mind. He is the exact image of him. While with Rob, I feel like he's playing a version of Edward. Taylor did such a good job. I'm not a team edward/ team jacob type of person....but I'm definitely lovin Jacob right now.

In my teenage years I think I would have liked Edward a lot, but I have to say that he really unnerves me with his whining and his need for assurance by others. Not the kind of guy a healthy relationship is possible with.Jacob is much more laid back and down to earth and does not constantly try to make decisions for Bella, much more the MAN a girl/woman should look for.And yes, I have read the books but the ending for the Jacob-storyline felt more like the author was kind of sorry for him and needed a way to get him a soulmate without making his love for Bella seem a lie, so not a very satisfying ending to a nice little fantasy/love- story.... .... and I will always be Team Jacob and will never understand anyone preferring Edward (at least anyone over a certain age) ;)

@ Goettin: After reading the whole saga I came to the same conclusion, Jacob's story in the very last book evolves around how sorry the author feels about him not gettin' Bella and how he (at the very last minute) should fall instantly in love just so he wouldn't be alone or suffer for the rest of his wolfie life. @ct4ar.kat: I read the books, and I agree with Alexa 87... Jacob is for real women... nothing healthy about Edward, if you think about it... he is not even alive. Jacob on the other hand is ALWAYS so HOT! (you know, cause his body temperature is not normal XD). And I am not talking about the actors, who I don't think were the best choice, I kinda think they don't really know how to... act. GO JACOB GO JACOB GO GO GO JACOB! (seriously Jacob, go for a real woman *COUGH ME*).
