Heroes 'Angels and Monsters': What's the Plan?

In Heroes' "Angels and Monsters," we got quite a few surprises - and also a couple of heroes with plans... but what are these plans, why, and how can they possibly work out?

While there's plenty to wonder about, our biggies came about from the appearance of yet another Mr. Petrelli - but this time THE Mr. Petrelli! We're left to wonder what his master scheme could be since he's clearly behind a lot of craziness going on!

We're also left wondering what the plans are for others like Hiro who stabbed Ando, Adam Monroe who disappeared, and how these guys will encounter Linderman, Matt Parkman's papa, or maybe Mr. Petrelli.

So what do you think Hiro, Adam, and Mr. Petrelli have planned?

I guess after watching the episode, all of that is answered Arthur doesn't need Adams blood, he just steals the power entirely (he is the new and only true god figure unless Sylar goes pimp again)...Hiro doesnt even stab Ando, hes a trickster (though super fast powers make me think you ought to be able to see a trick sword sliding into itself)Mohinder is in fact sliding down the evil rabbit hole...Parkman never changesClaire is slowly becoming the hero she wants to beAnd Sylar is turning into a pussy, -my heart aches for the old him

thats a good point Yamipop because mohinder is off on one and matt is in africa unless maya is looking after her dont know... i think hero stabed ando because he wanted to save the world but as he saw ando kill him in the future he picked to kill him there and then but if not he can time travle so he could have stoped time outside ran back to ando and took him to a hospital, mr p wants the fourmular thats obs because hes getting people together and adam and matts dad is in the mix which is not good but if matts dad takes orders from mr p that must mean hes VERY powerfull i also think syler will become a hero for a while as to stop peter

I'd love to see the Sylar Character become a hero, he and Peter could take on anyone.

Mr. Petrelli probably doesn't care about giving normal people super-abilities. Look at the state he's in. If anything, I think he wants the formula as a basis to find a way to give *specific* powers to people. Such as giving himself Claire or Adam's healing ability. Perfect health and immortality... what more would an already rich and powerful man need? I see Mohinder as a loose thread at this point. The guy's screwed himself up badly... and I wouldn't consider him a villain quite yet. The condition he's caused in himself has changed his personality drastically. However, look at Sylar's character; he has an almost uncontrollable hunger for abilities which began when he learned of his power and began using it. Eventually he learned to control it and is probably on his way to being one of the greatest heroes of them all. With a craving like that to keep him in check, knowing what he could become if he doesn't conciously fight it... it's probably the most epic struggle going on in the show right now even though it's not actually delving into it much. Mohinder needs time to adjust to the change. Either he'll bask in his power and become a villain, or he'll fight the temptation to kill, subdue his aggression and become a hero. Parkman doesn't have it in him to be a villain... unless Molly or someone close to him was murdered of course. He's a family man through and through. While Parkman seems to be inherently good, he also seems to be easily misled. I don't mean he's easily lied to or anything, but we've all seen some intricate manipulations on the show. There's more than one way to get somebody to do something. If he takes the role of a villain, it will be because he is naive and believes he is doing the right thing or if he feels someone close to him will be in danger if he doesn't act.

hey guysi totaly agree with daley and the whole hiro thing, seems the only way that all the peices on that storyline fits togetherMohinders situation intrigues me the most. i mean what is he, like spiderman?? i think his injection keeps mutating or sumthing and that he gets more and more powers. i also think that in the future Mohinder is the bad guy, hes the only one that people trust, and i think he will betray them all, but sylar will come through and become a hero in all this and end up saving the day.let me know what you thinkrob

I agree with the first review about ando hating Hiro, i love this season so far, it is fast paced and has surprises every corner.I still didnt get the Maury and Mr. Patrelli, but I do think that Mrs. Patrelli saw Mr. Patrelli back and strong. But the part i didnt get was that I thought we saw the funeral of Maury in season 1, but I dont remember much of it, so i am not so sure........anyone think that the entire company owned by Mr. Patrelli is just a person's imagination as most of the leaders or the company are already dead??I can't wait for the next episode, wanna see how Mohinder becomes when he sees Nathan and Tracy......also want to know, does he just kill people every single day now, like the ones he showed in that room, where Maya also got burried?

I don't think it was Petrelli trying to get Matt Parkman. I think it's Maury. That may be why his file wasn't included with the rest of them when Linderman hired Daphne to recruit people. It definitely was a twist to see Maury. I'm kinda worried though...was that Mr. Petrelli that Mrs. Petrelli saw in her dream. Shit's gonna get crazy up in here!

Mohinder reminds me (especially inthe future sequences) of the creature Dr Smith became in Lost in Space (movie). Maybe all these people being reminded of something just means we've seen it all before.....

mohinder is more like a gross version of the beast from x-men, glad hes a bad guy tho. Im really glad that adam monroe is back tho as that char is alot better then the claire storyline. this season keeps getting better and better tho this epi wasnt as good as some but it is used as an epi of plot not action which i can respect. Daley that idea about hiro and ando looks very promising i hadnt thought about it like that. I hope this season we see both sylar and peter joining forces and going crazy on all the bad guys. i dont understand tho why arthur petrelli is trying to get Matt Parkman on his side i mean he doesnt need him unless he is more powerful then his dad. cos i think Matt is too much of a hero for evil unless its daphne who persuades him

is it me or does anyone see the resemblence of Mohinder's transformation similar to that of Jeff Goldblum in the Fly?? xcept of course for the gross physical change..which may happen in the future.

Awe cool, Robert Forster is on Heroes.

As this episode unfolded it was easy to see the foreshadowing that Arthur was behind Pinehearst, the mind version of Linderman and Daphne’s theft of ½ the formula. I didn’t see the Maury part coming though because I thought he was trapped in his own mind still. And more importantly, I can’t figure out who is the good guy – Angela or Arthur? Or is it a matter of the lesser of two evils? Who do we cheer for? Who are the real villains? The Claire storyline was pretty boring except for revealing The Puppet Master (Eric Doyle). I have a feeling we are going to see much more of him.And Mohinder transformation is just getting gross. However, I’m afraid of what he’s going to do to Nathan and Tracy next week.

I'd be inclied to agree with Daley, in particular the part about Mr Petrelli being the leader of a rival company. Obviously he's the one that Daphne and Co have been working for. Seems like Claire ends up working for this 'rival comapny' in the future too. Interesting stuff, I've really loved this season of Heroes so far, I thought season two was bad but nowhere near as bad as some people on here have said. It's good to see Heroes back on track, one thing that does annoy me however is Claire, I love her ability and would like to see her do something other than whine and moan for once, it's time she grew up!

well Mr Petrelli i would guess used to work for the company and when the company decided it was wrong to experiment on people and started rounding them up mr.P dissagreed and wanted to continue the experiments so he set up his own company which the first company thought they had stopped but obviously were wrong. Now he wants the formula to contiue making "gods on earth" out of ordinary people As for hiro he has been trained by his father and i imagine he purposly missed the heart when he stabbed ando and took him to the nearest hospital which happend to be the private one owned the the 2nd company(obviously they will save ando and experiment on him giving him a power and at the same time he now hates hiro who would of had no time to expalin what he did having to make it look like he never left)this is why ando is enemys with hiro in the future
