Last season, Heroes was a tumultuous one for you Reelers as it bounced around in our Cancellation Buzz danger zone!
But, despite the ratings dropping and lots of wavering fans, it pulled off a renewal for this 4th new season.
But now, after its Season 4 premiere performance, Heroes has popped right back on to our list of shows in serious danger of cancellation for the new season.
Cancellation Danger Zone Status:
As noted in Monday's TV ratings from Zap2it.com, Heroes tanked. Or, if you want to put it nicely, it did not drop massively, but it did not do anywhere near what one would hope for a returning show in a big need of a ratings make-over. The almighty House aired at the same time, also with a 2-hour premiere episode, and House brought in "17.13 million viewers," while Heroes brought in "6.1 million viewers."
For House, that was an improvement on its finale last season, so it's possible it won't be so seriously crushing Heroes next week. But, considering Heroes continuously went down in ratings last season, and this premiere was close in numbers to its already dwindled finale ratings, well, I'd say it's time for Heroes fans to seriously buck up to save their show, or decide it's time to let this one go.
So what do you think? Last season a number of you defended Heroes saying there was still a lot to it worth playing out, and some of you said you'd given up after the peak of the first season.
How do you feel this season? Heroes: Save it or sink it?
