Love True Blood!

Love the show! I can't wait for the third episode! Does anyone know where I can watch it online like the 2nd (pre-air)?

I think the characters are all perfectly cast, especially Paquin as Sookie.

Hmmm... I don't know about pre-aired episodes, but I don't think the cast was cast as perfectly as you think. The character Sookie is supposed to be super beautiful, blue eyed, and voluptuous. If you've read the books, than you might be a little disappointed in the show's cast.

i agree with jaruto i pictured bill looking totally different way cuter in my mind and the brother to be bigger muscular wise. at first i didnt like Paquin but when i started watching she felt right for the character though.

i think that any book that is made into a movie/tv show, is going to leave lovers of the book disappointed. I don't know if you all would remember, but there was a huge backlash over the casting for Harry Potter when the 1st movie came out...haha. Just remember that it is truly impossible to cast someone who fits each and every person's imagination. No two people have the same idea of who the characters should be. And sometimes, for this precise reason, it's better to re-imagine the characters, instead of making them carbon-copies.
Anyway...i love the show!

Yeah... while I know that no one will ever completely fit, it just annoys me. And maybe I'm biased because she played Rouge and I absolutely despised her portrayal, but I just don't like the way she acts... I will keep watching though because I loved the books. Also with living in the south and hearing these accents.. it's a little annoying.
The more I've seen of Bill the better I like him for the role. So at least they have him down to my liking.

Stephen Moyers who plays Bill, is he British? He was in a channel four programme called NY-LON that I watched like five years ago. I'm sure of it.I think the brother looks just right to be attractive without being too muscular so that he has a wide man whoreing appeal!I like Anna Paquin in the role and I think she is about as volutptious as modern actresses get without casting Pammy Anderson. She has a nice natural looking figure. The choice could have been worse.
