Royal premiere for Alice In Wonderland movie

Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway will join the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in London for the world premiere of Alice In Wonderland.

Tim Burton's 3D movie was inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic tale of the young girl who embarks upon an exciting adventure in Wonderland.

A host of British stars have provided voices for the film, including Barbara Windsor and Stephen Fry.

The premiere takes place on 25 February and the film is out on 5 March.

Burton has teamed up with regular collaborator Depp, who has starred in a number of the director's movies, including Sleepy Hollow, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Edward Scissorhands.

Burton's partner Helena Bonham Carter also stars in the film alongside Little Britain star Matt Lucas as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Hathaway as the White Queen and Australian rising star Mia Wasikowska as Alice.

Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Paul Whitehouse, Timothy Spall and Christopher Lee have all provided voices for characters in the story.

Held in London's Leicester Square, the premiere will raise cash for The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts.
