The only faults I find within the movie is the cinematography, to many slow motion scenes. That is my only critique. The movie follows the book to perfection and to those who didn't like the movie would not like the book. I myself am an avid twilight fan, read all the books within a month and now I am addicted. The cast was perfectly chosen. I can't imagine anyone playing a better Edward than Rob or a better Bella than Kristen. As for the rest of the crew, they fit the type perfectly, including Charlie.
I love that Meyers waits for the deeper and meaningful aspects of the relationship until later. So many critics were negative regarding the movie saying there wasn't enough kissing or even the lack of intimacy and sex scene. Lets remember that she is just barely 17 and had to take care of her mom most of her life, little to no chance to date. Its realistic. Also, Edward craves her blood, how much could he actually handle. Its the way the book was written. It would be dumb to add things like that. To compare, the True blood series added so many sex scenes above and over the books that it almost looked pornographic, therefore unnecessary.
It was a great movie and I can't wait to buy it on DVD
