Knight Rider Review, by Kelly West of Cinema blend

I doubt it was much of a surprise to anyone that Knight Rider found a place on NBC's 2008 fall lineup. The network aired the backdoor pilot/TV-movie for the series last February so many of us expected to see the sequel eventually go to series. Right now, NBC has it set to air on Wednesday nights at 8 PM.

--heres the review for the pilot--

I am absolutely ecstatic at the prospect of a new Knight Rider, especially after seeing the 2hr pilot/movie. I have to say that Justin Bruening is the perfect companion for the new KITT, his ability to portray Mike Traceur as the sexy new driver of the aritificially intelligent, Shelby Mustang, is really well done. I can't wait until the Fall!!

OMG.. I can't wait. As someone whose old enough to remember growing up on the original Knight Rider, i'm quite pleased and actually amped this is becoming a series! Everyone seemed to play well off each other. At first I was a bit like 'errr' when I saw Val Kilmer doing the voice of KITT, but, great stuff.
And the fact they ensured The Hoff wasn't forgotten was perfect, and well deserved. I hope he makes appearances throughout the show and perhaps even a moment of Old KITT making a one time reappearance with the Hoff behind the wheel.
Also kudos for keeping the same base from the original themesong. Well done all around and i'm SO SERIOUSLY AMPED. :D
