The mother's name is....

I know they're are loads of discussions already running on who the mother is but I spotted something whilst watching through for the third time. In the Thanksgiving episode from season one (Belly full of Turkey) anyone remember the stripper who comes up to Ted at the end and introduces herself as Amber then says "Actually it's Tracey" then Future Ted says "And that kids is how I met your mother" (or something similar) and the kids freak out! I know he then says he's just joking but surely the kids wouldn't freak out unless the mother's name is Tracey?!

Yeah, I saw that and I think I mentioned it in recent discussion. But yeah, the mother's name should be Tracey in order to hold continuity and How I Met Your Mother is my favorite show because it is the greatest with continuity. I always like how an episode will go into a tangent, then we'll hear "...but more about that later" then there will be an episode in the near future elaborating on the issue. So, now, all I have to do is wait for the her name.

good point yes but it may not be her, tracey could have just been another name she used whilst stripping. i have a feeling it will be someone who has already been in an episode, maybe the woman he randomly bumps into at that party

That's what I said, Langston!I really want to hear about the goat on Ted's 31st.He mentions that Robin was living with them at the time.

Technically, the mother's name should be Tracey, since the kids freaked out when Future Ted told them that she was the Mother, because she was a stripper. But I don't think the "mother" will be named Tracey. It was probably a writing error. Writers should be careful with shows like Lost or HIMYM ! On another note, I really really want to know about the goat ! I hope Ted doesn't say "Oh, the goat was on my 32nd birthday!"
