Is Desperate Housewives over?

when i was the 2 hour episode tonight, which most likely was the season finale but is it over? due to the fact at the end it went to 5 years later, so is it really over? so if anyone has any information can someone let me know pleasE?

I dont want it to end?

the series is not done - it still has a couple more seasons scheduled - one at the very least - you'll just have to wait until the Fall season to see the next season.

Mybe its now going to show us how it got to that point? explain what happened with suzan and mike, etc? If it does come i can't decide whether it's going to be better or worse.

i think the next season is gonna be flash backs over the last 5 years telling us in bits and pieces what happened to everyone....sort of like how lost filled in the blanks in season 1 and 2...i dunno if thats a good approach for desperate houswives though...i mean it could completely change the show...and personally i like it the way it is...
