im sure most people that "caught" the sam being a shapeshifter is because they've either read the books or other people discussing it. It's a little more obvious in the books since theirs not that other dog throwing you off and it's spelled sookie

I know! Like, at first I thought he was a werewolf, but then people started talking and somewhere I read the whole thing..so...yep. It's spoiled, but I know I'm going to be surprised anyway, so what the hey. :P

Just starting to read the book as a result of this show, so i haven't got that far yet. But if you think about other vampire stories the vampires and werewolves have this ongoing feud thing, so perhaps that might be the case here. I definately think Bill knows about Sam because of the comment about Sam being the only one who could protect Sookie... if he was a normal human, why not just ask Jason, her brother, who isn't a love rival? I love this show so much! :)

I had the Sam-being-a-werewolf/dog/weredog (???) spoiled by comments other people wrote too, but still...great!!!I agree, Bill knows, and that's why he asked him to protect Sookie...Anyway, wasn't she a bit too upset by seing Sam and Tara together, and not that upset by Bill leaving??Well...don't know what's going to happen now...but I know I'm looking forward to!!!

i had already suspected that some was a were-something or some kind of shifter before reading anything to confirm it....but i got it from reading other vampire novels... lucretia is right, wherever there are vamps there are were-animals (or shifters)

Could people maybe be a little bit more careful with the spoilers? Your post caught my eye before I got a chance to watch the episode.Some of us still want to be surprised you know.

I know, i wish people would give a little warning about those spoilers! I know I'm reading the books but someone has usually posted something about some great juicy detail or revelation in the latest episode which does catch your eye as you scroll down. Lately I've taken to just closing my eyes and scrolling down to the bottom of the page so I don't see anything :) lol, yes and shapeshifter... not werewolf. I think we are all aware that a dog isn't a werewolf, but it's such a handy term... a whole 4 letters shorter ;) everyone knows what we mean!
