Naruto Shippuden The Movie Coming to DVD in November - Featured

Naruto Shippuden: The Movie is coming to DVD later this fall, and VIZ Media wants to make sure all Naruto fans have a chance to watch the latest exciting chapter of the world's most popular teen ninja! The DVD will be released on November 10th nationwide, and is rated for Older Teens.

Naruto fans in the San Francisco area will also be able to catch the movie a month early at the Viz Cinema in San Francisco! The movie will be playing as a sneak preview on October 6th and 7th.

In the latest Naruto movie, a powerful spirit that once threatened to destroy the world has returned and is about to resume its mission! Naruto is assigned to protect a priestess named Shion, a girl with the power to seal away the monster again. She also has the ability to predict a person's future, and her eerie prediction: Naruto will die soon! Naruto's only hope to survive is to abandon Shion, but that's not his style as a ninja - he decides to face his fate head-on and die!

The Naruto Shippuden manga and animated series pick up two years after Naruto left to train with his teacher and mentor Jiraiya. Now a teenager, the stories in the new series take a more mature and sometimes darker approach as Naruto returns to the Hidden Leaf Village to reunite with his old friends and discovers they are stronger than before - and maybe even stronger than he is! There is a powerful force in this spunky teenager, and he must learn to conquer it and overcome his own uncontrollable spirit and emotions while battling an array of villains and completing near-impossible missions.
