Review: When I saw the previews for this weeks episode, I assumed Jesse was going to be gunning for Westen, so it was a pleasant surprise when he becomes the client instead.
After a somewhat disappointing season opener, this episode of Burn Notice was right back on track. It was just as exciting as last week, chock full of car chases, gun fire, and explosions all while sticking to a single storyline, keeping things uncluttered and well paced.
It seems as though Jesse will be staying around for awhile as a fourth wheel, which right now is up in the air for me. On one hand, he's a brash character, so hopefully we'll see an increase in the amount of fully automatic weapons fire. Flip side: if three is a crowd, four is a really lame party. I'm worried about how he'll affect the dynamic of the team and the flow of each episode.
Already this season seems interested in making it more of an ensemble two episodes in and we've got Jesse in the for the long haul and Barry appearing in both episodes. Meanwhile, Sam " I'm often the best part of the show has been in the backseat a bit too much for my liking.
