Black Lagoon: Seasons 1 & 2 Collection DVD Review

Black Lagoon has been a series I have been interested in seeing for some time now, but it was never really high enough on my list for me to ever get around to watching it. Well, I am officially here to say that I am an idiot. I sat down today to just watch the first disc and ended up blowing off the rest of my day to watch the whole thing in one sitting. Rokuro Okajima is a typical Japanese businessman: unassuming, timid, and completely compliant to his bossa's every whim and demand. When his company sends him on an important trip to deliver a disc of confidential files, he of course jumps at the chance. But his life takes a turn when his ship is attacked by pirates looking for the disc in his possession. And if that was not enough, they decide it might be a good idea to take him as a hostage just in case they can get a bit more ransom money out of his company.
