Sacred Blacksmith - Season 1 - Episode 8 - Review: "Departure -Resolution"

The introduction of Chalotte and her gang to the series has felt kind of off in a way that I can't quite put my finger on yet. In some ways it felt unnecessary as it added four new women to the show when we already had a couple that were more than enough to focus on. While Cecily ended up befriending them all after spending time together at the Cambell House, everything has gone seemingly wrong now that the Empire has essentially called Chalotte either a liar or a criminal of some nature by saying she has nothing to do with the Imperial family. Even worse for Cecily is that she can't help her friend out now because it would not go over well for the House because of Chalotte's position within the view of the Empire. Having the family essentially aiding and abetting someone like this would not help anyone, likely Chalotte included.

To make matters worse, the Empire has dispatched a decent sized group of soldiers to the town where city where Cecily is in order to bring in Chalotte. Chalotte's options are dwindling rapidly as the peace of the city must be kept and they may have to offer her up. Her option of asylum isn't easily reached either as she would have to give information regarding the Empire to the Garrison State, something she is not inclined at all to do since she does believe in her Empire and what it stands for. This situation has put her in a really bad place and everyone is trying to figure out a way to salvage the situation so everyone can be happy, especially Chalotte and all those that support her.
