"Chi's New Address" is produced by Madhouse and each episode is around three minutes long (although the intro seems like it is 30 seconds after you see it over and over again). Each episode is roughly one chapter in the manga. This series is actually the second season which makes me wonder why the first season isn't up for streaming.
The little episodes center around the Yamada's. Mom, Dad and their small son Yohei. One day, they find Chi who was separated from her kitty family. Initially, they attempt to find a home for the kitten as their housing complex does not allow pets. Eventually though, they decide to keep her as part of their family. Just in secret.
In the second season, Chi is showing signs of wanting to get outside of the house and the family believes that it would be best if they give Chi to some relatives in Hokkaido. This decision isn't made lightly and when Yohei finds out, he runs away with Chi. Knowing that all of them have grown to love the little kitten, Mom and Dad make the decision to move to a complex that allows pets. From then on, we're treated to Chi's adventures as she adapts to her new home.
