Last night's brand new episode of Grey's Anatomy opened the flood gates (so to speak) for a few of the characters' storylines. It wasn't the most action-packed of episodes (though it was water-filled), but I can see that Shonda and Co. are trying to move foward.
I thought the episode was okay. It wasn't the best, it wasn't the worst. I feel like it was one of those episodes that's just setting up what's to come, rather than being one of those episodes in which things happen. But I enjoyed it. Their lunch scene was wonderful. I think the show is at its best when it focuses on the friendship between the original interns.
What did you think? Is the fifth season turning out to be a disappointment or are you cool with how things are shaping up?
