Uraboku - Season 1 - Episode 5 - Review: "Episode #05"

Yuki's finally made the decision to move on with his life by going to Tokyo with everyone and being where his only remaining family is. The group that was left behind and that fought together has now gotten more comfortable with each other, first with Zess revealing his real name of Luka to everyone (or more specifically, to Yuki with others in earshot) and he's even now napping against Yuki's shoulder on the car ride there, something that really is surprising to the Toko based on her past experiences with him. The group overall feels pretty young at this point, something they haven't felt in the first four episodes of exploration and darkness.

The first half of the episode is pretty tame as we get those kind of bonding moments during the drive, but also some more serious ones. Tsukumo in particular is really clear with Yuki about his importance to the team as they can't fight without Yuki backing them up with his power. This is also parlayed into a bit of an explanation at the police department among some officials there where we see that Takashiro has set things up with those few people that know about the Giou clan that they'll be the ones to handle cases that involve demons, better known as the Duras. The Duras are getting more active and Takashiro is firming up things with the police for whatever his master plan is as he always seems like he's on the verge of being a villain rather than someone on the side of right.
