"Almost Normal" Review

I am really enjoying this season even though we are only 3 episodes in.

I really like the way they are dealing with Kitty's cancer storyline - I was worried it would be too similar to others like Lynette's in Season 4 of Desperate Housewives but have been relieved that it isn't.

I like the way in which Kitty has been dealing with it; excepting it but acting kind of zoned out a little? Like the way she was thinking about how to tell everyone whilst Kevin was having a bit of a breakdown when he discovered she was sick.

I also like that it seems this season will see Kitty and Robert work through their issues and become closer. They are a great couple and even though I understand why they put them through a rough time last year I'm glad to see them working through it.

Cool to see Kitty and Rebecca spending some 'sisterly' time together picking her wedding dress. I think I'm one of the few fans who still likes Rebecca, even more so when shes interacting with other members and not just Justin.

Having Sarah return in the final minute was genius. I didn't realise how much I missed her character until that moment and am looking forward to her being back!

The only thing I'm wary of is this 'past enemy of William' storyline that is brewing. I'm not sure I care enough but I suppose its giving Holly and Saul something seperate to do instead of hanging round the edge of the central plots. The lack of Ryan is good, he just needs to do something really nasty (which is what I'm guessing they are aiming for) then just go away.

Looking forward to the next episode!
