After a successful date with Lina in which we get to see the two have a lot of fun with each other, and to see that they're a good match, Joey's life is about to get a whole lot more complicated. Not that it wasn't already and the introduction of his sister is only going to add to it. But in addition to that, the arrival of the NIA in trying to track down the Heroman has led them to Joey as Agent Hughes has figured it all out and is ready to pick him up. Amusingly, the belief among Joey and his friends appears to be that the incident in the previous episode was set up to draw him out by the government. It was that kind of plan, of course, except it was done by Dr. Manami.
Psy shows his age over this because he rightly views Heroman and Joey as heroes, but the idea that the government is looking for him for numerous reasons has him questioning why they fought at all to save Center City. He has a pretty childish outburst over this that doesn't really do much beyond showing that he's all over the map with how he thinks about the situation when it gets dire. In the end though, he agrees with Denton that it's for the best to get Joey and Heroman out of Center City so they set up some elaborate disguises for themselves (but not Joey!) and make their plans to get out of the city. Luckily for them, Denton does have some friends even though he comes across a little crazy sometimes.
