Kenley's Bridal Gown
Regarding the notion that Kenley "stole" McQueen's design in the finale, part 1 episode...
A long, long time ago, there was this little ballet called "Swan Lake," featuring a whole lotta pretty ladies dressed in avian finery. Most often the costumes featured rows of overlapping feathers covering a fitted bodice and a poofy tulle skirt. They were known as "Ballerinas" and the look became a CLASSIC.
This is precisely the look McQueen copied on not one, not two, but THREE dresses in his Fall '08 runway show... which he completed with the classic chignon and ballet flats. How creative - NOT! To claim this classic silhouette as novel or innovative, for any modern designer, is absolute nonsense.
