At 8:00 AM one fine Washington, D.C. morning, Jack Bauer is called
before a Senate hearing into the human rights abuses and torture
committed by the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit, which has now
been decommissioned. His evidence is cut short, however, when the
FBI subpoena his presence. FBI Agent Renee Walker wants Jack's
help in taking down a militant terrorist group who appear to be led by
Jack's former colleague, long assumed dead: Tony Almeida.
Meawhile, as she deals with her own new administration and the
growing military disturbances in the African nation of Sangala,
President Allison Taylor faces a more immediate crisis: the
kidnapping of her son Roger.
