Legend of the Seeker (Season 1)

"Wow!" The only way I can describe this first season of "LotS".

I want to first say that I have not read the books. I have never heard of the author. Never heard of this series. BUT if the series was this good, I imagine how much better (and more detailed) the books are. I believe THAT was the main purpose of making this series not border too much near the real thing. I have witnessed the decline of interest from the HP book fans, to the fans of the HP movies.

Nonetheless, I am sold. I cannot wait for season 2 to begin. I have no idea as to how they are going to continue the storyline when it already seems like it's finished. But I pray to god that the next season is at least JUST as good as this one.

I guess by the series terms you could say,

"Command me, oh great series producers!"

Lots of love to the actors and actresses in the series. They are one of the main reasons why this series really took off. Especially the main 3 characters.

I hope in the future... Richard and Kaylan find a way to actually be together for good. And Zed gets to be not just a grandfather, but a great grandfather.

Could you imagine a child whose parents happen to be the Seeker and Mother Confessor AND their great grandfather is a Wizard of the first order?

Just some things to look forward to?

Keep it coming. I'm totally hooked.

(Does anyone know if this season was based only on 1 book or the entire series?)

The majority of the the LotS was based on the first book of the Sword of the Truth series. However, they drew a little from other books (for example the sisters of the light). The first book ended almost the same as the tv show. With so much left out/changed in the tv show (this is not a criticism) I don't see how the producers will be able to stay true to story line of the second book.

Aah, I see. It's like taking different portions of the HarryP series and ending up making just the first movie.
Still, I'm really looking forward to finding out what the storyline of the next season is going to be.
