I love these boys more than anyone I know. I mean, I am currently going through old episodes of Freaks and Geeks on tv, but even Seth Rogen and James Franco couldn't save this movie.
There is an initial concept to the film, and if the actors had chosen to follow that initial plot, it would've been great. But somewhere (about 30 minutes into the film) it becomes an excuse for a Michael Bay like action movie, which...well, isn't the strong suit of this crew.
There are funny lines, but they are few and far between. Some of Seth Rogen's lines were delivered so poorly, it felt nothing like the genius I saw in Knocked Up.
We started with 10 of us in the theater, we finished with 8. And I was envious of those who left...I was actually angry that I paid full price for it.
