Kate Gosselin, the infamous mom of eight, made it clear from the start that she'll need special allowances for her Dancing with the Stars training, and ABC has been more than happy to oblige.
While Kate's ten competitors will stay in Los Angeles to train and perform with their professional partners, she'll wrack up major miles flying back and forth so she and partner Tony Dovolani can practice near her kids in Wernersville, Pa.
"I'm going to practice in my basement when they're home or sleeping," said Gosselin in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel after ABC announced her spot on Dancing with the Stars. "And when they're at school, I'll go to a local studio. The whole goal is to be home as much as I can, and I'll come back and forth every week."
Gosselin went on to say that they'll construct a "makeshift dancefloor" in her basement for her and Dovolani, whom Kate calls a "miracle worker," to practice each week.
