Lindsay Sloane Talks Snooki's 'Poof' on 'Late Late Show' (VIDEO)

In the middle of her interview on 'The Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), Lindsay Sloane realized she may have confused her Scottish host, Craig Ferguson.

"I can rock the poof," she joked, referring to the notoriously voluminous hairstyle of Snooki on 'Jersey Shore.' But among the Brits, "poof" is an offensive term for a gay man. So Ferguson gaped at the audience and let her comment hang in the air.

'The Other Guys' star successfully interpreted his silent response and started to laugh, saying, "See, Craig, in America, the poof means something different."

Craig wouldn't admit to being a 'Jersey Shore' fan. Instead he theorized that after filming, Snooki goes home and says (in a posh British accent), "Oh, it's so ghastly -- please remove my poof!"
