'One Tree Hill' Brings Back the Theme Song for Season 8

The season 8 premiere of One Tree Hill (Tuesday at 8pm on the CW) will feature something that has been sorely lacking for a long time: the theme song. For the past three seasons One Tree Hill has abandoned its anthem, Gavin DeGraw's "I Don't Want to Be," but now the show is bringing it back.

However, it won't be the same song fans remember. Instead, the show is taking a page out of the Weeds playbook and bringing in new artists to offer a different cover of the song for each episode. Weeds did the same thing with its theme song, "Little Boxes," during seasons 2 and 3.
