New 'Boardwalk Empire' Trailer (Yes, This One Has Dialogue!)

Our friends over at NY Magazine pointed us to this trailer for HBO's new Prohibition-era drama 'Boardwalk Empire.'

Based on the book 'Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City' by Nelson Johnson, 'Empire' stars Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson, the king of Atlantic City. Think one part gangster, one part politician. It was adapted by Emmy-winner Terence Winter of 'The Sopranos,' and premieres this September.

'Boardwalk Empire' also stars Gretchen Mol, Michael Pitt and William Hall. The pilot episode was directed by film legend Martin Scorsese.

The first two trailers for 'Boardwalk Empire' featured no dialogue, so this is quite refreshing.

In early June, the Live Feed reported that 'Boardwalk Empire' generated a lot of buzz from overseas buyers that program U.S. shows overseas.

Check out the trailer -- complete with words -- and see if you agree with all the buzz the series has been getting ....
