Fringe has been one of Fox's best shows this season, but not all the chatter surrounding it has been positive. There's been some disappointment at the ratings that followed the switch to Thursdays, and some frustration with the lack of key revelations in the overall plot. Executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman held a conference call today to clear up some confusion and provide some info on where the show is going next.
Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman provide a lot of creative input on the show along with J.J Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman. Wyman worked as a writer/producer on Keen Eddie, and Pinkner is best known for his work on Lost, Ally McBeal, and Alias.
On the topic of the long-awaited answers to the questions surrounding Peter's origin, the producers simply said that they're "definitely, definitely going to revisit that this season." But that's all they would say about it. They skillfully sidestepped further questions on the topic, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
