ChuckFest 2010 Celebrates Season 3 Premiere

Raise your hand if you watched the Chuck season 3 premiere. There should be roughly 7.4 million hands raised right now. It was a very successful premiere indeed. Things seem to be looking up for Chuck, and nobody could be happier about that than the dedicated fans who worked diligently to make season 3 a reality.

I was lucky enough to be a part of ChuckFest 2010, which was an event organized by the fans, for the fans. The two-day event led up to the massive premiere viewing party which was held at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

ChuckFest was organized by the wonderful people at WeHeartChuck.com who brought Chuck fans together to celebrate the return of the show and also raise money for the American Heart Assiciation. We Heart Chuck has raised over $31,000 for the organization since the campaign to give Chuck a third season began over seven months ago.

The two-day ChuckFest began with a Wii Golf tournament. The original prize for the top two scores was a chance to meet stars Zachary Levi (Chuck) and on-screen BFF Joshua Gomez (Morgan), but when word about ChuckFest got around the Chuck set the entire cast wanted in on it and they wanted to meet everybody! The winners of the tournament still got their own prizes: their own Wiis along with a Wii carrying case signed by the cast.

The second day of ChuckFest was definitely the big day when fans got to meet the cast of Chuck. It was basically speed-dating with the cast of chuck: Sarah Lancaster (Ellie), Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah), Vik Sahay (Lester), Scott Krinsky (Jeff), Mark Christopher Lawrence (Big Mike), Joshua Gomez (Morgan), Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin (John Casey).

When it was all done, Levi took a moment to thank the fans. "We have jobs because of you guys, and we thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you and God bless."

After the event, the stars' support continued through Twitter. Baldwin tweeted: "Chuckfest!!! What a wonderful gaggle of individuals!" Levi also went on Twitter, writing: "Thank you to all of our fans at Chuckfest. Your love and support is appreciated more than you know. Blessings."
