So what did you guys think of tonight's new episode of Supernatural, "Free To Be You and Me"?
It felt to me that things were finally starting to move this season. Sam and Dean being apart was actually pretty interesting.
So let's talk about each of their storylines.
In this episode Dean teams up with Castiel to track down the Archangel Raphael, so that he can tell them where God is. Well, unfortunately they weren't able to find much about God's location, but it was nice to see a new side of Dean. As he told Castiel, it was the first time he had fun in a while, and it definitely came across. So let's hope for more "happy Dean" in the future.
Another really funny part of this new team, was how Dean had to teach Castiel how to "lie" in order to get information. Because Castiel, bless his heart, is still pretty innocent.
Although the whole getting him laid thing. Really?! Don't they have anything better to do with the apocalypse going on and all?
But I'll admit that the whole telling that girl that it wasn't her fault her father left was pretty priceless.
As opposed to Dean, Sam didn't have much fun in this episode. Not only was he forced into drinking demon blood, but Jessica visited him, which turns out she really was Lucifer.
Oh and get this, Sam is Lucifer's vessel, his true vessel, say what?!
So I guess it really will come down to Sam's choice. If he embraces Lucifer we can expect a pretty historical face off between the brothers, which I'm almost hoping happens, because I'd like to see that!
Oh and we finally saw Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer in this episode, and I have to say it was kind of scary how sure he was Sam was going to come to his side. I can't wait to see more of him.
Overall, I think this was my favorite episode of Supernatural this season so far. And it really feels like it's going to get crazier from now on.
So what did you guys think? Are you liking the brothers apart? What did you think of Lucifer? Do you think he'll be able to convince Sam to become his vessel?
