Rubicon - I wanted to like it - well acted, but my goodness, what a plodding plot line....

There is barely a discernible storyline, the characters are sketchy at best (apart from the lead) and the situations just ridiculous. It's trying way, way too hard to be the thinking man's mystery du jour, and it's failing.

And you just know in advance, that if it gets a second series, then instead of answering the mystery, they'll just put in a twist that will mean it has to carry on for another series. Groan.

I still watch, for the time being, but unless it gets its act together, it will lose me soon.

Love it! It doesn't cater to dimwits with short little payoffs. Life has no clear and quick answers, if you're looking to get your jollies off go watch "The Real Housewives of who gives a crap". If this gets canceled I will be very upset, meanwhile "Jersey Shores" will go on to 12 seasons, until they all have failing livers from steroids or alcoholism.

I wouldn't use the same words as Phoebus, but I agree. It was one of my favorite shows for the previous months and I'd be very disappointed if it doesn't get a second season.

It ultimately threatened the ruling class and caused the viewer to think. It was brilliant, and, of course, doomed.
