Who knows what will come out of Valerie (Lourdes Benedicto)? But you better prep yourself because you'll finally learn the outcome of her pregnancy before ABC's V takes a break for summer. And before you make your predictions, there are several things you need to know, according to exec producer Scott Rosenbaum, who tells TV Guide Magazine about this odd storyline.
Warning: Spoilers ahead!!!
V will have its own baby version.
If you're hoping for Valerie to give birth to twins a la Robin Maxwell on the original 1980s V series, then I'm sorry to disappoint you because that's not happening. Rosenbaum reveals that ABC's V will have its own version. Still, that's not to say that her baby will be entirely human or perhaps hiss with a long reptilian tongue.
There will be different prenatal reveals.
In the original V series, Robin Maxwell's pregnancy advanced at an accelerated rate and she developed a green circle around her neck as her due date got closer. The new V, on the other hand, will have new prenatal manifestations for Valerie. Maybe some recurrent vomiting of green slime? Your guess is as good as mine.
Pregnancy storyline will be subtle.
According to Rosenbaum, "The birth is going to be less interesting than the stories beforehand. Knowing that it won't be as intriguingly big as what's been featured before, are you still looking forward to Valerie's baby?
