We've discussed a few of the performances that will come up on So You Think You Can Dance's 100th episode in a few weeks' time. We already know that the Ramalama routine and the hummingbird routine and the bench routine will be there--and I'm still learning, I've got to admit--and obviously we should expect a few more things to come up as July 23 draws near.
Funny, while I was searching all those YouTube clips I forgot that one little thing that we've all been talking in the past weeks: the Michael Jackson tribute. You know, the one that involves Nigel's "Twitter-power" over Paula Abdul. At least we finally know when that happens: of course, not this week, but on the 100th episode, too.
The folks at SYTYCDism, as always, got their hands on that bit of information, including that one crucial bit which I thought should happen: Wade Robson will be dancing that tribute. Yes! I know some of you hoped to see him choreograph the routine, considering his beginnings as one of the many people who imitated the King of Pop's moves until he ended up dancing for Jackson himself in a concert in his native Australia. But this couldn't be better. It looks like it's very fitting to see him front a tribute to one who's contributed a lot to dancing, and who's made so many dancers out of these people.
Well, that, and those three classic routines, and Katie Holmes, too. I wonder what else will come up. Any wishes?
