After her labor that lasted more than an episode on The Secret Life of The American Teenager, Amy (Shailene Woodley) pushed with all her might, while Ricky (Darren Kagasoff) tried to come to terms with his feelings for what's happening. He talked with Ben (Kenny Baumann) as they waited for Amy to deliver. The verdict: he didn't deserve to have a baby with someone ads nice as Amy. And Henry (Allen Evangelista) and Alice (Amy Rider) officially got back together judging from how they didn't want to part lips.
As ABC Family's record-breaking series returns for its sophomore season tonight, Anne (Molly Ringwald) has to deal with the surprising news of her own pregnancy, while Amy tries to slowly adjust to motherhood, otherwise known as the life filled with having to wake up in the middle of the night to feed her baby and change the diaper. Meanwhile, Grace (Megan Park) and Jack (Greg Finley) renew their relationship, and Ben struggles to find his place with Amy now that Ricky has positioned himself to take an active role in the life of the baby. On top of everything, an "unexpected tragedy" is set to befall one of the teens, which will reportedly change everything.
The second season of The Secret Life of the American Teenager will reportedly tackle Amy's trying to raise her son while going to school and still be a typical teenager.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which on its first season became the network's no. 1 original series of all time in terms of total viewers and all key demos, kicks off its 12-episode second season tonight.
