Smallville: Episode 8.19 "Stiletto" Rundown - Featured

Previously on Smallville: Chloe agreed to help Davis work on his homicidal tendencies because she's just that nice (and stupid). Clark tried denying that he's a super-powered alien to Tess Mercer, but she's way too smart for that.

Lois Lane is turned away from a fancy journalism gala, making her seem overly desperate. She complains to Chloe about how she can't get an interview with the Red Blue Blur, or even the lesser superhero the Green Arrow. How can Tess Mercer figure out all these secret identities, but Lois, who has been close to both Clark and Oliver, can't?

A mugger attacks Chloe and knocks her out, but Lois arrives to kick some bad guy butt. Even in five-inch heels, she still knocks down two grown men without breaking a sweat. One gets away in Chloe's car, but she steps on the other's neck with her heel and gets an idea, so she lets him know that there's a new superheroine in town - Stiletto.

Chloe wakes up in the hospital, eager to get out and back to Davis in the basement. Unfortunately, her laptop, complete with all her Justice League notes, was in the car. Lois is nowhere to be seen as she's busy writing up a news story about Metropolis' newest hero, Stiletto.

I'd like to take a moment to point out that what Lois is doing, fabricating a character to write about, is not only unethical, but possibly criminal. Just ask Jason Blair or that dude who wrote A Million Little Pieces.

The escaped mugger returns to his boss, some mob kingpin who works out of a club. Coincidentally, Jimmy is working as a bartender at this club, jonesing for some more pain medication. The mugger (Bruno Manheim) gets yelled at by the kingpin, so Bruno kills him and takes over the business, deciding that their first target is Stiletto.

good review, it was written with a sarcastic touch and i like that. just one thing, lois does know oliver is green arrow.and yeah this episode was a little bit.... coincidencial... jimmy working with the guys that wanted to kill lois, lois arriving just in time when chloe was hit, jimmy waking up JUST IN TIME the guy was shooting lois... but oh well.. is smallville, but i just was expecting more, just like the last episode.

this isn't even a real review.. this is you retelling the story in your own way.i think this episode further developed the relationship between Lois and Clark.although i wish we got to see a least a bit of Davis - it'd be interesting to see how Davis and Cloe's relationship seems to be progressing.

i have to say that that could be on of the worst reviews i have ever read in my life. Fair enough she hasn't figured out that Clark is superman but she found out that oliver was green arrow in the seventh series when canary came onto the scene. Also, clark wasn't waiting around to follow her to see if she would lead him to stiletto.... HE LEFT FIRST! And he was on the police website looking for some hot action to go red-blue-blur some bad guy ass. I don't think that chloe's so much doubting that taking davis in was a good idea as he just saved her ass, i think she was crying 'cause she just had to chuck a dead guy into a dumpster. So yeah, like i said... worst revieve EVER.
