Heroes has yet another name to add to its ever-expanding cast this season. Elisabeth Rohm, who is perhaps most famous for playing Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn on the television drama Law and Order, will be appearing on the NBC series, according to the network.
Unfortunately, that's all the network had to say on Rohm's casting besides the fact that she'll be appearing in the eighth episode as a character named Lauren Gilmore so there's no telling what side she's on. Previous casting news for Heroes has, thus far, been vague in terms of whether an actor will serve as one of the villains or one of the good guys, except for Prison Break star Robert Knepper, who will certainly wreak some havoc as the "Carnival Barker."
Rohm, who has also graced the small screen as skeptical detective Kate Lockley on Angel and as Agent Janet McKaren on Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous in the big screen , has often played characters on the right side of the law so there's that possibility that she's bound to portray someone good on Heroes. On the other hand, having her play someone wicked might be even more fun.
At present, Rohm, who will guest star in next week's season premiere of 90210, is working on several movies, including Aftermath, a crime thriller starring Anthony Michael Hall and Chris Penn, and The Spy and the Sparrow. The latter, which is directed by Garrett Bennett, finds Rohm playing the on-screen daughter of David Rasche, who plays a retired CIA agent hoping to find her daughter whom he haven't seen in more than two decades.
Heroes premieres Monday, September 21 on NBC.
