Scrubs: "Our True Lies" Review Season 9, Episode 10

Argh, this show gets me so frustrated. Let me try to be clear about this. Scrubs is not a bad sitcom. Hank was a bad sitcom which is why it's no longer on the TV schedule this season. But Scrubs hasn't necessarily been good either. This season, the show has just sort of sat there, taking up space like a meal at Denny's - perfectly palatable, but nothing to write home about either.

Which is why it's so frustrating every week to watch this show and know how good it used to be and how good it could still be. The old characters haven't lost their touch and the new ones are interesting and likable. There's just too few laugh-out-loud jokes missing from these episodes that make it fail to reach what I want week after week. As usual, a Dr. Cox rant, this one about a make-up exam featuring questions about medicine and everything else including, "baseball statistics, North Dakota high schools and the geography of a made-up fantasy world I like to call Coxatopia" was the funniest line of the episode.
