As always, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a man of his word. The bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-governor will be back as the T-800 killer cyborg in this month's Terminator Salvation.
The actor's appearance was confirmed at a Thursday press screening of the movie.
Schwarzenegger's governorship duties prevented him from shooting new footage, but the magic of moviemaking inserted his image from the earlier films. Austrian bodybuilder and actor Roland Kickinger, who played Schwarzenegger in the 2005 TV movie See Arnold Run, also appears in the movie as a prototype of the T-800 machine with a similar face.
Schwarzenegger will carve out time to attend the May 14 premiere of the postapocalyptic film, which stars Christian Bale as John Connor. Salvation hits theaters May 21.
