With the release of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World fast approaching, director Edgar Wright has started doing the publicity rounds, and making mention of his proposed next project, Ant-Man.
Speaking to Box Office Magazine, Wright explained that his adaptation will be slightly different to the average superhero origin story, with the emphasis being on the funny.
"I haven't actually started the second draft yet" he explained. "I'm not going to be able to until this film [Scott Pilgrim] is out, but what we wrote for the first draft, and what Marvel really liked, is that it's funny, but it's a genre film. It's about the level of comedy that Iron Man has.
