There's something great about an arresting story. A story that can get you arrested, on the other hand, is a totally different matter.
Luckily for us, we got a little of both on 'Police Women of Memphis' (Thu., 10PM on TLC). A woman had called the cops to report a hit-and-run, and ended up getting herself arrested for assault.
After detailing where she was hit and the damage on her car, Officer Aubrey Olson inquired about death threats. Only, it wasn't the other woman who was doing the threatening.
"I said I was going to kill her a---," this woman corrected. "I was gonna kill her."
And the woman didn't stop there; she even showed Olson the jack iron that she threatened to kill the other woman with. It got to a point where Olson's partner finally interjected. "Hey, do you think you're saying the wrong things now?" he asked. "Did that ever occur to you?"
The woman went on unfazed. "Some people are so stupid, they end up calling the cops on themselves," said Olson.
Oh, lady. Maybe you should have quit while you were ahead.
