On this week's Celebrity Apprentice, the two teams compete to make the best ad commercial for Right Guard deodorant. First off, the ladies find out they're down not one, but two players for this challenge because Sharon is out sick and Cyndi has to travel to Washington D.C. for the day. This gives Holly the perfect opportunity to step up as project manager, and Curtis volunteers to be the project manager for the guys' team.
To help with the commercial, each team will also work with a retired NBA pro to star in the commercial. Tenacity gets paired with Scottie Pippen and Rocksolid teams up with Clyde Drexler.
With Cyndi (the big distraction) out of the picture, it's smooth sailing for the women's team. Holly gets inspired and quickly comes up with a pitch and even a jingle for the commercial. The only problem is the theme, which had to do with funk because apparently that's what the Robinson-Peete household calls bad body odor? We'll see how this one plays out.
Unfortunately for the guys' team, their big distraction is still a huge presence: Bret. Every week, Bret tries his darnedest to contribute and give something to the team, but he always makes things that much harder and this week is no different. His creativity comes in waves and is not well articulated at all. At one point, he tries to confuse and convince Curtis to change their entire idea right before the commercial shoot, but luckily, Curtis regains his common sense and sticks to the original plan.
